What these four are
Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta are the first four asteroids ever found, discovered between 1801 and 1807 in the main belt between Mars and Jupiter. Ceres — much the largest — has been classed a dwarf planet since 2006. Because they were the first known and are among the brightest, they became the standard asteroid set in astrology, the four that chart services carry alongside the planets.

This page computes each one for the birth moment: geocentric ecliptic longitude of date — the same frame as the birth chart — from JPL orbital elements propagated as a two-body orbit, exactly as this site computes Chiron. Houses are read against the natal cusps when a birth time is given; the retrograde flag compares the longitude twelve hours either side of birth, the same test the birth chart applies to the planets.
