Timing Timeline
Every dated event the site computes for one chart, merged into a single chronology: exact transit contacts, progressed contacts, solar returns, and planetary stations — each solved to the minute, none interpreted.
Transits
The instant a moving planet perfects an aspect to a natal point — the dates the transit pages' windows are built around.
Progressed contacts
The slow clock's perfections: progressed-to-natal contacts, each dated at the month-scale moment the geometry is exact.
Solar returns
The exact instant the Sun re-reaches its natal degree, once a year — the anchor of the return chart.
Stations
Planets standing still: each station retrograde and station direct from Mercury through Pluto.
Enter a birth date and place and the four streams merge into one chronological list. Each stream also has its own page: transits, progressions, solar returns and retrogrades.
What each stream is, mechanically. TRANSITS: the exact instant Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune or Pluto perfects a conjunction, sextile, square, trine or opposition to a natal planet (Chiron included, the Mean Node not) or to the angles when the birth time is known — solved to the minute by the same engine as the transits page's positions. That page reads the standing sky with orbs; this one dates the crossings themselves, so a retrograde planet crossing one degree three times is three rows. The Sun's conjunction with its own natal degree is listed once, as the solar return. The transiting Moon is left out on purpose — its contacts last hours and belong to the moon calendar.
PROGRESSED CONTACTS: secondary progressed-to-natal contacts from the same engine as the progressions page, read once at the window's midpoint against the 1° progression orb, each dated at the instant its geometry perfects. Consequence of the midpoint read: the progressed Moon moves about a degree a month, so only its contacts near the middle of the window appear; the slower progressed bodies cover the whole span. SOLAR RETURNS: the exact instant the transiting Sun re-reaches the natal Sun's longitude, the same solver as the returns page. STATIONS: station-retrograde and station-direct instants for Mercury through Pluto, from the same computation as the retrograde calendar.
Deliberately absent: lunar and planet-return charts (their own view, under construction); eclipses (the site carries no eclipse computation yet); lunations, void-of-course spans and transiting-Moon contacts (the moon calendar's business). Windows run up to three years. And no readings: an event here is a name and an instant, and interpretation waits until the corpus can cite it. Positions come from the same engine as the sky (~arcminute); all times are UT.
