How this works
Each condition becomes the list of time spans in the range where it holds. The page keeps the spans where every condition holds at once. Conditions that need a place are tested last, only inside those spans, every ten minutes and then bisected to the minute. Windows shorter than 10 minutes are dropped and the 40 longest are listed. Starts round up and ends round down to the minute.
Positions are geocentric ecliptic longitudes of date from the same engine as the chart pages, sampled hourly for the Moon and every six hours for the planets and interpolated between samples; stations are bisected on the full model. A state that begins and ends between two samples can be missed. Signs, the via combusta and the houses are read in your zodiac: tropical (chart settings).
- Direct, retrograde: apparent motion over twelve hours either side, as on the retrograde calendar.
- Dignified: domicile and exaltation with traditional rulers; triplicity (Dorothean, the participating ruler counts by day and night) and term (Egyptian). Without a place the sect is unknown, so a triplicity ruler of either sect counts; with one, only the ruler of the sect in force. Leave out a dignity to stop it counting. Not debilitated: not in detriment or fall.
- Moon waxing runs from New to Full Moon. Not voiduses the moon calendar's rule: void from the Moon's last exact Ptolemaic aspect to the Sun through Pluto until it enters the next sign. Applying to a benefic: the Moon's next exact Ptolemaic aspect to the Sun through Pluto, before it leaves its sign, is to Venus or Jupiter. Via combusta: 195° to 225° of the zodiac (15° Libra to 15° Scorpio).
- No hard aspects: no conjunction, square or opposition within the orb between any listed body and any target. The default orb is 5°.
- Angular: in house 1, 4, 7 or 10 under your house system (Placidus, chart settings). Placidus, Koch and Alcabitius fall back to Whole Sign where they are undefined near the poles. Benefics are Venus and Jupiter, malefics Mars and Saturn. Ascendant ruler: the traditional ruler of the rising sign.
Ranges run 1700 to 2200, at most 366 days. Each condition can also be written by hand, one per c= in the address:
