Lunar node

Mean nodeA smoothed average. Moves steadily backward, about three arcminutes a day.True nodeThe node of the Moon's actual orbit. Wobbles up to about two degrees either side of the mean and turns forward for days at a time.

House system

PlacidusCusps by time above and below the horizon. Unequal houses; undefined inside the polar circles, where Whole Sign stands in.Whole SignOne sign per house, starting with the rising sign.
