What does not change
The planetarium keeps its colours and takes your typeface. Star hues are computed from the colour index in the catalogue, planets are photographs lit from the real direction of the Sun, and the aspect colours there sit against a night sky rather than against your page. Restyling that would make the render say something untrue. The panels around it stay dark for a plainer reason: they float over a sky that cannot follow a pale theme, so a pale HUD would not be a light version of that page, only a mismatch. Every label in it, including the ones drawn inside the scene, is set in whatever typeface you choose here.
The four elements, the five aspect colours and the retrograde mark keep their hues on the 2D pages too, for the same reason in a milder form: they carry meaning a reader arrives already knowing. What they take from your theme is lightness, so they stay legible on a pale background instead of vanishing into it.
There is no contrast check, on purpose. You can see the result while you choose it, which is better information than a formula, and Reset to default is always one click away.
