Minor aspects

The five major aspects divide the circle by one, two, three, four and six. Minor aspects come from finer divisions: the semisextile and quincunx from twelve, the semisquare and sesquiquadrate from eight, the quintile and biquintile from five.

They are usually given small orbs, a degree or two, because a finer angle is easier to hit by chance. In chart preferences each minor aspect can be switched on and given its own orb; where two neighbouring orbs would overlap, both are trimmed so no angle counts twice.
